Our Vision for 2024
January 2, 2024 marks four years of VPG.
Happy 4th birthday to my creation, VPG, the virtual gateway to professionals in the patent space!
I am thrilled to share the exciting journey of the Virtual Patent Gateway (VPG), my creation that has grown leaps and bounds since its humble beginnings. Initially, it was just a dream for work/life balance, but now, VPG thrives as a hub for virtual support to legal entities and practitioners on Patent Trial and Appeal Board (PTAB) practice and ex parte reexaminations.
Over the past four years, our diverse team, brimming with talent in digital strategies, arts, writing, and project management, has been the heartbeat of VPG. As the CEO, I have faced challenges and learned invaluable lessons that have shaped our path.
In 2023, we embarked on a transformative journey, turning VPG into a virtual training and webinar platform, forming meaningful partnerships, and offering on-demand courses. I am proud to publish my second book, Collaborating in Competitive Ecosystems, with illustrator Michelle Kim and convert the lessons into an on-demand course with the talents on our team. This year, we have continued as a one-stop shop, providing virtual paralegal services while also empowering women entrepreneurs through "The Wanderlust" newsletter and workshops.
Looking forward to 2024, our commitment remains unwavering. Season 1 of the "Virtual Water Cooler Chat" podcast was a personal highlight with 35 episodes focusing on personal and professional growth. Season 2 takes a personal turn, delving into diversity, equity, inclusion, and accessibility (DEIA), fostering understanding through heartfelt dialogues with professionals.
