- Citation form for secondary authorities (books, law reviews, and so forth)

About Deborah Bouchoux, Esq.
Ms. Bouchoux has been in private practice as a licensed attorney and has had experience in legal education for 25+ years. She has specialized in corporate and intellectual property law. Additionally, she has served for years as in-house counsel in northern Virginia for a high-tech company. Ms. Bouchoux is well-known as a speaker on a variety of legal topics and has spoken at private law firms, Fortune 500 companies, for the National Capital Area Paralegal Association, and various government agencies and independent organizations, including the U.S. Department of Justice, the U.S. Patent and Trademark Office, the Financial Institution Regulatory Authority, Inc. (“FINRA”), and the U.S. Tax Court. She is also a long-term adjunct faculty member of Georgetown University and has taught at various universities, including The George Washington University and the University of San Diego. Ms. Bouchoux is the author of various books and publications: Business Organizations Law in Focus; Fundamentals of Business Organizations for Paralegals; Business Organizations for Paralegals; Intellectual Property: The Law of Trademarks, Copyrights, Patents, and Trade Secrets; Protecting Your Company’s Intellectual Property; Concise Guide to Legal Research and Writing, Legal Research Explained; The Aspen Handbook for Legal Writers; and several other textbooks adopted by universities across the nation.
