On Wednesday, February 19, 2025, I joined Ashley Cheung and VPG for an exciting fireside chat with Andrew C.M. Cooper, author of The Ethical Imperative: Leading with Conscience to Shape the Future of Business. We also mingled with team members Caitlin, Sydney, and our honorary photographer Derrick. Andrew, a distinguished Big Tech lawyer, shared his journey alongside his colleague Braxton K. Davis, emphasizing the power of humble beginnings.
Kicking off the evening, Andrew signed 80 copies of his book for enthusiastic attendees, thanks to Ashley's creative promotion. Lissi Mojica, Managing Member of Answers IP, opened with a warm welcome, while Ashley expertly led a thought-provoking interview delving into personal and professional leadership. Andrew's insights inspired everyone to embrace their unique leadership styles, and when Ashley brought Braxton into the conversation, his candid stories of challenges and triumphs provided even more depth.
The dialogue then became interactive, allowing attendees to engage directly with the speakers. Saurabh Gupta from Groombridge Wu Baughman & Stone, LLP wrapped things up with insightful closing remarks. The event was a fantastic success, leaving everyone motivated and ready to lead with confidence!
