In April 2024, VPG announced the exciting addition of a new peep to the team: Cheryl Blank. Cheryl is a Data Analyst/Litigation Assistant at VPG. She recently graduated from the University at Albany in New York with a master's degree in data science. Adopted from South Korea, Cheryl lives in Albany, NY. She serves as her sorority’s alumni chapter advisor, which strives to empower women and advocate for Asian Americans. Cheryl’s avatar is a raccoon named Chia.
Cheryl loves making new friends and sticks with her crew like nobody’s business. She is also passionate about Stopping Asian Hate. When Michelle Wu introduced Ashley to Cheryl, Ashley was immediately impressed by her sweet and kind nature. The job market is tough for new graduates in TECH, and Ashley believes this is an excellent time for these young professionals to acquire transferrable skills. Ashley has a special love for the “raccoon” as her other business is “Urban Raccoons,” the critters that are urban savvy and doing whatever it takes to adapt! Go Cheryl, or shall we say, Chia!
